Who am I?

Alexandra is an award-winning screenwriter and playwright focusing on creating compelling stories with female, queer, or disabled protagonists. She also runs a copywriting business for creatives and businesses, taking the daunting self-promotional tasks off their plate so they can shine in the marketplace while focusing on what really matters. She’s proud to announce her upcoming episode on the RUGRATS reboot for the second half of season two on Paramount+ next Spring. Previously, Alexandra was a Creative Executive in Scripted Development at the Emmy award-winning production company, Citizen Skull, overseeing their development slate of over 30 projects, crafting materials to make them stand out in the market. While at Citizen Skull, Ali had the pleasure of working on projects with Lloyd and Beatriz Levin, Lionsgate, Sonia Cole, Sonya O'Hara, Gersh, and Quiver. She also collaborated on projects with international companies like Quizzical (South Africa), Goldfinch (UK), Good Time Decent (Canada).

As co-host of the award-winning podcast, WHEEL TAKES, Alexandra curates their social media and merchandizing for their worldwide listeners, and has served as a panelist at several events addressing the nature of adaptation in the film and television industry. Her work as a screenwriter and playwright has earned her multiple commissions from various theater companies, and her projects have premiered all over the world, including at Mudlark Theater, the Tony Award-Winning American Theater Company’s Bridge Program, Big Teeth Small Shorts, Shockfest, LA Comedy Film Fest, Blastoff, Silver State Film Festival, Culver City Film Festival, Indie Short Fest, 13th Street Repertory, The Second City’s Mary Scruggs Festival. She has worked as an article writer and blogger for various publications, including CRACKED.COM, THE SECOND CITY NETWORK, and INSIDE SURVIVOR. Her most notable accolades include being a two time Second Rounder for Sundance’s development programs, a finalist for Screencraft, a finalist for the Woodward/Newman Drama Award, and the winner of the Jackie White National Memorial Playwriting Contest. Lastly, Alexandra has performed at Carnegie Hall and the Estates Theater in Prague (where Mozart premiered DON GIOVANNI). Alexandra is represented by John Ferraro at Valleywood Entertainment.
